BarleySinger and wife Willow Firesong have been practicing pagans since the 1980s. Together they accepted ordination through the Universal Life Church in January of 1998 as part of their ongoing path of service to the natural world and the pagan community; they now offer the pagan community another option for legal celebrations of joining and other life events. As part of that service they have been clarifying their beliefs and practices into a Tradition of Beliefs and Celebrations. This section of the site will be dedicated to sharing their writings on these subjects with those who might find them of interest.
BarleySinger has been recognized as a bard by his local and greater communities for even longer than he has been willing to accept the term. For many years, fellow travellers who have enjoyed his music have sought a way to share it with others, and have copies for their own use. Willow Firesong is working as time allows to put his music into MIDI format, allowing it to be published over the web along with the lyrics to a variety of pagan songs.
