The Stages of Life
The Stages of Life represent the development of the individual in relation to those around him, and his efforts at creation.
Apprentice
This card represents the creation of the self, the stage in which a person spends his energies learning from others, and evaluating what is learned only by whether it is of interest. The Apprentice gives raw effort to others, in return for knowledge.
Crafter
This card represents the creation of those items needed in life for either use or beauty. The Crafter is evaluating what has been learned based on how well it works, and the results it creates. The Crafter combines knowledge with effort to produce tangible or intangible items, which are often exchanged with others for the products of their knowledge and effort, in an equal exchange.
Teacher
This card represents the creation of knowledge in others, and the task of shaping their development. The Teacher gives knowledge and skill to others, and is rewarded in turn by their energies and devotion to understanding.
